Who is eligible?
You may be able to claim VAT relief if you have a long-term illness or a disability, and the product is for your own personal use. This includes many of the conditions commonly associated with needing a personal alarm.
- You have a physical or mental impairment with a long-term effect on everyday activities.
- You have a condition treated as chronic, such as diabetes or heart disease.
- You are terminally ill.
You don't need to be registered disabled, and there's no need for a doctor's letter to make the declaration.
How do I claim it?
It couldn't be simpler. When you order, you complete a short VAT relief declaration confirming your eligibility, we guide you through it. There's no extra paperwork and nothing to send off.
If you're eligible, you simply don't pay the VAT, the price you see is the price you pay.
